Bandpass-filtered -40-dB attenuator, less than 0.1-dB error reference design

TIPD118

Design files

Overview

This verified design is a -40dB band-pass filtered inverting attenuator. The circuit creates a filtered, inverted, and attenuated output from a single-ended input signal that can be used for test and measurement, or other waveform generation applications. A single low-noise OPA1611 op amp is used to invert, attenuate, and filter the input signal. The low-noise and low-distortion performance of the OPA1611 allows for a very accurate and clean output signals.

Features
  • -40dB Filtered signal output
  • 0.1dB Flatband Accuracy
  • Low-Noise output from OPA1611
